Pumpkin fun

My dad was Getting ready to carve this big pumpkin and he asked our nephew What do you think is in this pumpkin? and Stephen said babies ( B/c I had a baby in my tummy not to long ago) so my mom and dad quickly put little baby pumpkins in the big one. And Stephen Got so excited when they opened it up he started jumping up and down and yelling " Look, baby Cohens, baby Cohens" it was so cute !!!!!!

Corn field adventure

We went to a farm in Syracuse Utah called Black Island Farm, with my family. They had all kinds of fun things to do expecially for little kids. They had slides made out of hay stacks and a little corn maze which you can only turn left. It was actually pretty hard My sister Jamie actually found her way out and we all followed just so we can say we did it! There was also a couple big corn mazes we went on we raced my sister and her family and my mom .... and my brother derek was with joel, cohen, and I ..... we didnt win :( Steve actually had to come in our maze to find us... we were lost! Later that week the friday before halloween Joel and I went with Jamie Steve and Mikelle to the Haunted Barn and corn maze it was really scary I had a bad case of clastrophobia on one part but everyone was there to help me get through it! it was really scary for me...

Our New Adventure

So about a week ago we moved to Syracuse, Utah. We Love it here already! we live with our sister Jamie and her cute little family. It is so much fun! We really like our ward and are noticing things are so much fun here! We are going to start playing Coed Volley ball which makes me ( Joel ) Very Happy. Im a little nervous about it b/c Im not as good as Joel is and I might actually hurt the team more then help them! another fun thing we are excited for is we will be playing coed in door soccer with Jamie, Steve, and Mikelle... we will be getting a team together probably very soon.... We are doing more here then we ever did in Vegas... and we are Loving it! This Friday we also went to Lagoon the theme park and it was a BLAST!!! Grandma watched Cohen while we went on the rides :) There are a ton of fun rides Joel Loved The old OLD white Roller coaster ride that sounds and feels like it is going to fall apart. my favorite ride is the spider! Joel likeds that one too. Next summer we are going to get season passes so we can go all the time! But the park was extra fun this time b/c it was a spook allie they had namy haunted houses we went through all the big ones and they had shows and scary ppl walking around everywhere! we had so much fun we went with uncle Brad and his family and my family. We also were able to go see Bucks babu be blessed which was way cool! Cohen got to meet Alisha and Eric and there families for the first time... We were the last ones to leave... It was a lot of fun! Joel hates all mechanics here... haha Long story, We have just been having to fix some things on his truck... Lots of money later we fix them. Well Cohen is getting bigger everyday, smiling more and more and even starting to giggle a little bit. Money is really tight but Utah is so much cheeper then Vegas :) which is helpful. Even though We have our struggles we are still doing so good we know the Lord is always with us and will never let us fall.... Joel is also getting WAY more hours at work then he got in Vegas which is a huge Blessing! Well we are starting a movie so we will talk to every one later!

Things have been kinda busy around here .... New baby ... all the doctors appointments for me and him and also my little sisters wedding. So I am trying to catch up on here and post some pictures of our little man.

Cohen has brought so much happiness to our family.... he is so fun and is already showing his little personality.

Newborn Cohen

Well we had a wonderful friday night at the hospital........it was so good we decided we should stay pretty much the whole day saturday as well. Breanna wouldn't dilate past 5 cm and Cohen was turning to the side as well, and his heart rate was dropping so it was best for her and the baby to go ahead and have a c-section. She was in labor for 21 hours before the c-section!!!! But at 6:37 pm Saturday night, Cohen Michael Anderson was born at 6 lbs. 15 oz. and he was 18.5" long.

This is my finger. I know it looks gross, but that is because it was wrapped up for a few days. But I can't make excuses.....my finger is disgusting because I blew the crap out of it. The doc said that I will go into surgery tomorrow. That should be fun!!!! He also said that it will heal pretty quickly, so I will be able to work fully in a little bit.

Joel Joel Joel.... my accident prone Husband J/k I love him. Now we just need to take care of eachother... Good timing to break a finger huh? about a week before Cohen comes. Joel has to see a specialist on monday or tuesday to make sure everything is ok. and he will give us more of an idea of when he can go back into work. Of course he will be limited to what he can do but it would still be nice to get a pay check! we are just glad he still has a finger... He is really lucky it wasnt worse. so we will find out more on monday or tuesday.

Well to all those who knew me before my mission, they know that I smashed my finger with a big tire and had to have stitches. Well today i just decided to put my finger underneath the lift as it was going down, just to try it out.....j/k. So the conclusion is that it will brake your finger and you will be in a lot of pain. Right now I have a prescription for lortab, which I don't want to take! and an antibiotic. I'm loving life right now j/k. Well the good thing is is that I have a baby boy coming. He will see his dad for the first time without a fingernail. How sad!!!!

A little over a week to go! Im hoping he will come sooner :) i am getting really uncomfortable and Its a real struggle to get up and move around! My Family has been in town for a week and it was a lot of fun... And my mom will come every weekend till after my sisters wedding which is sept. 5th So It will be nice having her here to help out. Joel and I are just getting last minute things together... like a hospital bag packed with the little things we will need and a little bag for Cohen :) Its been fun picking out his First outfit he will wear. We also found a "baby doctor" for Cohen :). So things are going good. My doctor said if i dont have this baby by my due date we will have to set up a time to induce labor! I would much rather go on my own... So my fingers are crossed that he will come before!

I am so excited but so scared at the same time.
I dont know what to expect?!?!?
Time seems to be slowing down a little :(

We just wanted to express how grateful we are... we are truly blessed. Everything is just working out for us... of course trials come and sometimes it gets hard but we always come out strong! The Lord really does have his hand in our lives. We have been married for over a year now and even though we really did have some hard things to get through, our marriage has become stronger b/c of it. And we are so much closer then we were before! We cant complain with how things are working out.... Yes, everyone seems to be struggling. Times are really hard right now. But the best cure for "poor me" syndrome during really tough times.... Is to count your MANY blessings and name them ONE by ONE. after we do this, we really wont be able to complain anymore. And also look around you and see who is having a harder time then you.... There is ALWAYS someone going through more then you are... pray for them and do something to serve and help them out. and I know our day will be brighter and then the trial we are going through, just wont seem as bad! and we might actually think it is bearable. I have such a strong testimony of the gospel, There is no doubt in my mind that I belong to the true church. My savior and father in Heaven love me. They are always with me especially in the hard times. He never leaves us alone. We just need to listen and he will guide us. I am so thankful for all he has given me... wonderful parents, amazing brothers and sisters, the most caring and honest husband, and the most precious baby boy we are anxiously waiting to hold. I am so happy, I have no complaints, my life is wonderful and full of good things. We have made a decision to move to Utah and we cant wait! We are so excited to be up there and to start our little family. Things are really going good for us. We have absolutely no room to complain. We love our families and cant wait to see what is in store for us in the future!

I want everybody to know that this is my new car!!! But it really is! Oh and by the way this is Joel writing this time.

All I can say is I have such a great husband... I Love you Joel thank you for everything!!!!!!

I know its been a long time since we have updated this ... oops :) But the most exciting news we have to tell you is we are going to have our precious baby, Cohen Michael, in August! we cant wait to be parents. We are getting so close to being able to hold him in our arms... and it is almost to much to handle. We just cant wait!




I dont have any pictures, But I just had a baby shower! My sister Alisha and mother in law Merlene made it so nice! and I really appreciate all they do for me! I got a lot of fun stuff... It makes me even more anxious for Cohens arrival :) I Love both sides of my family so much and am so thankful for what I have been blessed with. I Have the most amazing husband and we are so greatful we have been trusted and blessed to bring a little boy to this world. I just hope and pray we can be as good of parents to him as our parents were to us! Thank you Mom and Dad for everything!!!
